Maintaining efficiency even at peak design flow rates, it enables industrial operators to meet discharge requirements, increase efficiency and save money by cutting energy and chemical use, lowering maintenance costs, reducing solids handling and recovering materials to be recycled or reused, converted into energy or sold on.
With the addition of the Floc99™ Ultrafine Solids Module, the system can remove up to 99% of TSS and can cut chemical costs by over 40%.

The Hydro-Industrial™ MicroScreen is a low-energy, small-footprint system, providing cost-effective treatment in a small space. With a footprint between 4 and 10 m2 (43 and 107 sq ft) and energy demand of between 2.5 and 7.0 hp, it saves up to 50% on energy use and up to 90% on footprint compared to conventional primary treatment technologies.

With a dewatering section and compression zone, the Hydro-Industrial™ MicroScreen produces up to 50% total solids—without the use of chemicals. This increases the efficiency of solids handling, cutting the cost of transport and disposal.
Protect downstream treatment systems
The Hydro-Industrial™ MicroScreen does not require equalisation prior to screening, and will reduce the TSS and particulate BOD going into a Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) system—reducing the load to help achieve better overall performance. In new DAF installations a Hydro-Industrial™ MicroScreen can reduce the size / capacity of the DAF system required.
